Gina Webber - Director of Membership
Gina’s professional background includes 19 years as an Accounting & Finance Recruiter/Lead at Ledgent, a Roth Staffing Company. She has been on the board for over 4 years. She initially started as Director at-large then moved to Membership and is now our Secretary. In her free time, Gina loves spending time with her family, building long lasting relationships, and volunteering. Some organizations she volunteers are Waymakers, Formando Sonrisas and local Huntington Beach events.
Jeremy Harber - Director at Large
Jeremy Harber is a Controller with over 23 years of experience in accounting, working primarily in the insurance, real estate, and healthcare industries. Jeremy is an active CPA, CMA, and CSCA and has been involved with the Orange County chapter of the IMA for over nine years, including over three as a board member. At work he is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and has overseen multiple corporate accounting and reporting functions including projects for the first-time implementation of ASC 842-Leases, establishing the COSO framework for Sarbanes Oxley, and implementing accounts payable automation.
Tammy S. Cooper
Tammy is currently CEO/CFO of Technology Company. She brings a diverse perspective to the boardroom combining deep financial expertise, strategy, and governance to deliver thoughtful questions and insights that help drive informed decisions. She is responsible for the oversight of the corporation including the strategic planning, finance, audit, and HR functions (including compensation reviews). She has presided over an unprecedented growth period for the corporation leading it through an expensive 19-year period from a 20 employee $25M startup to its current 300 employee operations pushing the $1 Billion Mark. Her current awards include OCBJ Women in Business 2022, OCBJ CFO of the Year Lifetime award 2023 and Enterprising Women of the Year 2023 by Enterprising Women Magazine. Tammy is a graduate of Cleveland State University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. She is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and an avid professional baseball follower who currently resides in Irvine, CA.
Sue Soh - Webmaster
Sue is currently Operational Controller for SA Recycling. She has 20 years of dedicated experience in sales and operations management within the banking, real estate and logistics sectors. She joined the board in 2022. She enjoys working on special projects, provide meaningful managerial reports, and look for continuous improvements to internal control. Sue holds both an active CMA and CPA license with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Option in Accounting, from the California State University, Los Angeles. She is a well-rounded individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
Christopher Lozano, JD, CMA
Christopher Lozano is an accomplished Corporate Controller with a diverse background in finance, law, and leadership. Currently serving as the Corporate Controller for Freddie Georges Production Group, Chris oversees financial operations and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, Chris has held the same position at Show Ready, Inc. since September 2015, managing the financial health and strategic planning for the company. In addition to corporate roles, Chris is actively involved in the professional community, serving as a Board Member for the IMA Orange County Chapter since May 2023. This role involves contributing to the chapter's strategic initiatives and engaging with industry professionals to promote best practices in management accounting. Chris Lozano holds a rich background in both business and law, making him a versatile and valuable asset to any organization. His commitment to excellence and professional growth is evident through his diverse roles and achievements across multiple industries. In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and dogs. He also loves to stay fit and run marathons.
Rachel Nelson
Rachel Nelson is the Chief Financial Officer at CB Technologies, Inc., where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing Finance, IT, and HR. She earned her bachelor’s in business administration, with a focus on Accounting from California State University, Fullerton, and brings over 25 years of experience in the technology sector. Rachel began her career as an AP/AR Clerk at Centric Resources, Inc./MicroAge, quickly advancing to Accounting Manager. In 2001, she transitioned to Foundstone, Inc., a cybersecurity startup, as the Accounting Manager. That same year, she joined CB Technologies and has since progressed from Accounting Manager to CFO. Rachel’s career is distinguished by her exceptional leadership, strong work ethic, and deep expertise in accounting and operations. Rachel is a three-time nominee for the OCBJ Women in Business Award and a two-time nominee for the OCBJ CFO of the Year Award. Additionally, she serves as a Board member for the OC Institute of Management Accountants.
Fritzy Marcelo
Fritzy Marcelo has over 15 years of experience in Accounting and Finance across different industries. She began her career by obtaining double BS degrees in Business Administration and Accountancy from Holy Angel University, Philippines. She immigrated to the US with her goal of pursuing a career in accounting and obtaining a CPA license. She started her career in smaller private company where she played a crucial role in developing the accounting department and laying the ground work for growth. As her career progressed to a larger, publicly traded organization, she recognized the importance of pursuing the CMA to gain a well-rounded approach to management accounting. She completed her CMA certification while simultaneously working on her MBA at Cal State Fullerton. Currently, she holds a position at a growing multinational medical device company. Throughout her career, Fritzy has been committed to improving practices and adapting to the dynamic field of Accounting and Finance.
