This month the OCIMA Chapter has the privilege of hosting Professor Ahmed Rashad. Professor Rashad earned his Ph.D in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1972.
Professor Rashad teaches various Accounting courses and is the Director of the V.K. Zimmerman Center for International Education and Research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Professor Rashad has authored several Accounting related books and is an editor and contributor to the The International Journal of Accounting.
He will be discussing the evolution of both standards, the challenges with both IFRS and GAAP, and what the impact is on Finance and Accounting professionals.
